Creating habits that support our health is really rather simple, but it's not easy! Especially if you've been used to living a less than supportive lifestyle. But if you change your habits, you'll change your health! I can help you figure out what habits would be highly impactful for improving your health, and then install those habits seamlessly into your everyday life. It's really about taking small consistent steps that lead to big changes. You'll be amazed at how much better you will look and feel in a relatively short amount of time!

In my career as a registered nurse for over 20 years, the one thing that has always struck me is how many people come to hospitals and clinics to be treated for conditions that are totally preventable! It’s really sad that, according to the CDC, 80% of heart disease, strokes, and type 2 Diabetes , and 40% of cancers could be prevented with healthy eating, an active lifestyle, and not smoking. Yet most people continue to eat highly processed foods, sit on the couch in front of their TV or devices instead of moving around, and/or smoke. There is a glut of information on TV, magazines, radio and the internet about health and how to be healthy, but people today are less healthy than ever! It’s not that we don’t have enough knowledge; we just don’t apply the knowledge that we have!
That’s why I decided at the end of 2008 to train as a health and wellness coach, and then educator in 2013. I knew that I would find greater purpose and satisfaction by helping people avoid illness and disease than in treating them after it’s too late. I am passionate about seeing all of us live well, live healthy, and live with purpose and fulfillment. And I don’t know about you, but with all the health care fiasco going on with insurances and government and politics these days, it definitely pays to avoid the need for medical care whenever possible!
No one can take care of your health except you. God has given us each an amazing body and mind that is capable of healing much of itself when sick or injured or neglected. But, it needs certain things to do it’s work effectively! It is my passion to empower you with understanding and coaching so that you can take the best care of the one body you have and be free to live out your life’s purposes, unhindered by poor health and chronic disease.
